What do Elbert Guillory: “Why I Am a Republican” and Immigration Reform have in Common?
Everything. First, if you haven’t already, go to MOCGATOR’s post and watch the four minute video clip. We need more politicians to talk like this. Honesty. Guillory challenges all people to escape the “Government Plantation” because at the heart of liberalism is a desire to control disguised as the desire to care. All it has done is failed the black community for decades. And now, the Democrats, aided by moronic Republicans who think we lost the last election because of the hispanic vote, are trying to do the same thing via immigration reform. Grant 11M illegals amnesty. Once they are citizens they become eligible for all sorts of wonderous Government programs like food stamps, unemployment, Obamacare. Once they are fully dependent upon Government their votes for Democrats are assured. Trapped on the Government plantation. You can’t have open borders and a welfare state. The math doesn’t work. Immigration reform is nothing more than a ruse to create a permanent voting block. It has nothing to do with the American dream. It has everything to do with fundamentally transforming this nation – As Obama promised he would.
Write your Congressmen. Stop this.
