Don’t believe the polls – Believe in Mitt. Believe in Yourself. Believe in America.

Ok, I am not going to make a prediction – I will attach an article where Dick Morris does that (spoiler he predicts a republican landslide).  What I will do is get in front of the BS polling currently going on right now.  The corrupt media is so desperate to prop up Obama the polls have become meaningless.  Look at the facts.  Romney is up double digits with Independents.  In what universe does a President win an election where he trails Independents by double digits.  I’ll tell you, only if his party has a HUGE voter turnout advantage at the polls.  Sorry Dems, that isn’t going to happen this year.  Do you know anyone who voted for McCain in 2008 that is voting Obama this year? Anyone?  Republican enthusiasm is off the charts.  Look at the 2010 mid terms.  The Democrat turnout advantage was washed away.  No way 2012 looks like 2008.

Yet, that’s what many of the polls would have you believe.  Some polls are using HIGHER Dem turnout in their models and / or under sampling Independents to give Obama the lead.  Obama’s RCP average has been stuck around 47-48%.  Even when he was leading.  His favorability is around there too.  Typically, those translate to election day results for the incumbent.

Does that mean Romney wins? Of course not.  But think back to 2008, the final weeks.  McCain was pulling out of swing states and defending what should have been safe states.  Sound familiar.  Major polling organizations have pulled out of Florida and North Carolina.  They know Obama has lost.  Virginia is gone.  Colorado is gone.  Look at where Obama is spending time and money.  Ohio, Wisc, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Iowa, New Hampshire.  With the exception of Ohio, these are his FIREWALL states.  Gallup shows early voting advantages Obama enjoyed in 2008 gone.  More telling, sampling of those voting early show Democrats are pulling sure votes forward while the GOP is getting net new voters to the polls early. Advantage Mitt.

From the Human Events Link included:

The conventional wisdom of this election has long held that Obama will have a huge lead in early voting, and the Democrats have at least a +3 registration advantage.  But both of those contentions have been called into question by recent polls from Gallup, which holds that Romney is ahead five points in early voting, and the Republicans actually have a 1-point registration edge.  If Gallup’s assessment of the electorate is accurate, Romney is on his way to a resounding victory.  If the Democrats really do have an 8-point advantage, Obama will probably win.

My point of all this – Stay the course my friends.  We are close.  Don’t let them lie to you anymore.  Vote.  Call your swing state friends and relatives.  Some reading material to get you motivated!!!  Especially the last one.  I would love to see Axelord shave that thing off!!!

“Well, ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ is back – not for gays in the military. It’s President Obama’s new policy for questions about Libya. Don’t ask, don’t tell.”

“Have you seen that new Obama campaign ad that equates voting with sex? It’s kind of clever. It uses innuendo to try and woo young female voters.”

“Like one line says,” he continued, “’Your first time shouldn’t be with just anybody. It should be with a great guy who really understands women.’”

“But, on the other hand, if it is your first time, you might want to do it with someone who doesn’t need eight years to get the job done. That’s all I’m saying. That’s all I’m saying.”

His erosion began shortly after the conventions when Indiana (10 votes) and North Carolina (15) moved to Romney (in addition to the 179 votes that states that McCain carried cast this year).

Then, in October, Obama lost the Southern swing states of Florida (29) and Virginia (13). He also lost Colorado (10), bringing his total to 255 votes.

And now, he faces the erosion of the northern swing states: Ohio (18), New Hampshire (4) and Iowa (6). Only in the union-anchored state of Nevada (9) does Obama still cling to a lead.

In the next few days, the battle will move to Pennsylvania (20), Michigan (15), Wisconsin (10) and Minnesota (16). Ahead in Pennsylvania, tied in Michigan and Wisconsin, and slightly behind in Minnesota, these new swing states look to be the battleground.

Newt says two networks have emails proving the White House gave the order to stand down

If this is true…  From the Daily Caller

On Tuesday night’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” on the Fox News Channel, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said that major news networks might have secret emails proving that the White House canceled plans to assist the besieged U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

Gingrich said that the bombshell emails could be revealed within the next two days.

“There is a rumor — I want to be clear, it’s a rumor — that at least two networks have emails from the National Security Adviser’s office telling a counterterrorism group to stand down,” Gingrich said. “But they were a group in real-time trying to mobilize marines and C-130s and the fighter aircraft, and they were told explicitly by the White House stand down and do nothing. This is not a terrorist action. If that is true, and I’ve been told this by a fairly reliable U.S. senator, if that is true and comes out, I think it raises enormous questions about the president’s role, and Tom Donilon, the National Security Adviser’s role, the Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, who has taken it on his own shoulders, that he said don’t go. And that is, I think, very dubious, given that the president said he had instructions they are supposed to do everything they could to secure American personnel.”

After noting that the rumor, if true, would have a substantial impact on the presidential election, Gingrich pointed to another possible “October surprise” in the coming days.

“The other big story, I think, that is going to break is on corruption and extraordinary waste in the solar power grants and direct involvement by the Obama White House, including the president, in the solar panel grants involving billions of dollars, and I suspect that’s going to break Wednesday and Thursday of this week,” Gingrich added

Facebook sensors Navy Seals

I posted this on my page – I will let you know how long it stays up…

As reported on:

Facebook Censors Navy SEALs to Protect Obama on Benghazi-Gate

Over the weekend, Facebook took down a message by the Special Operations Speaks PAC (SOS) which highlighted the fact that Obama denied backup to the forces being overrun in Benghazi.

The message was contained in a meme which demonstrated how Obama had relied on the SEALS when he was ready to let them get Osama bin Laden, and how he had turned around and denied them when they called for backup on Sept 11.

I spoke with Larry Ward, president of Political Media, Inc — the media company that handles SOS postings and media production. Ward was the one who personally put the Navy SEAL meme up, and the one who received the warning from Facebook and an eventual 24 hour suspension from Facebook  because Ward put the meme back up after Facebook told him to take it down.

Here’s what Ward told me:

We created and posted this meme on Saturday after news broke that Obama had known and denied SEALS the backup they requested.

Once the meme was up it garnered 30,000 shares, approx. 24,000 likes, and was read by hundreds of thousands of people — all within 24 hrs. On Sunday, I went into the SOS Facebook page to post something else and found a warning from Facebook that we had violated Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities with our meme. So I copied the warning, put it on the meme as as caption, and re-posted the meme to the Facebook page.

Along with the re-posted meme, Ward put a link to the Facebook “feedback comment” inbox so visitors to the SOS page could send a message to Facebook if they were as outraged over the meme being jerked down as he was.

Liberals are starting to admit.. Higer taxes on the middle class as well…

It takes no great intellect to see throught the entire fallacy of “taxing the rich”. “Taxing the rich” means “tax anyone who makes money”……+at+Liberty%29

President Obama repeatedly assures us that he only wants higher taxes on the rich as part of his class-warfare agenda. But I don’t trust him. In part because he’s a politician, but also because there aren’t enough rich people to finance big government (not to mention that the rich easily can alter their financial affairs to avoid higher tax rates).

Honest leftists are beginning to admit that their real target is the middle class. Here are a few examples.

The New York Times endorsed higher taxes on the middle class in 2010.

The then-House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer also gave a green light that year to higher taxes on the middle class.

Earlier this year, MIT professor and former IMF official Simon Johnson argued that the middle class should pay more tax.

The Washington Post also called for higher taxes on the middle class this year, as did Vice President Joe Biden’s former economist.

In other words, politicians often say they want to tax the rich, but the real target is the middle class. Indeed, this is the history of tax policy. In a post earlier this year, warning the folks in the Cayman Islands not to impose an income tax, I noted how the U.S. income tax began small and then swallowed up more and more people.

54% – 39% To Repeal Obamacare

This my friends is called a “mandate” from the people.  We want this abomination gone.  You liberals are governing against the will of the people.  It’s near the end…

One week before the election that will likely determine Obamacare’s fate, Americans support its repeal by an even wider margin than they did in the immediate aftermath of its highly unpopular passage.

According to newly released polling from Rasmussen Reports, by a margin of 15 percentage points (54 to 39 percent), likely voters now support the repeal of President Obama’s centerpiece legislation.  In the first three polls taken in the wake of the House’s passage of Obamacare (on March 21, 2010), Rasmussen showed that likely voters then favored repeal by margins of 13 points (55 to 42 percent), 12 points (54 to 42 percent), and 12 points (54 to 42 percent).  Cementing Obamacare would be the principal focus of Obama’s second term.

Benghazi Cover Up – Article by retired Admiral sheds light US gun running in Libya (updated 11.5.12 with additional link)

In addition to the damning questions below, the Weeklystandard makes a great point.  If Obama did any of the things he claimed he did the night of Sept 11th, there would be a record… and they would be the first to release it.  So, why haven’t they?

An editorial in Sunday’s Washington Times caught my eye.  It is written by Retired Adm. James A. Lyons, former commander in chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet and senior U.S. military representative to the United Nations.  A second editorial by Mr. Gaffney added more detail.  I had to read them a couple of times to be sure I got it right.  In all the controversy brewing over Benghazi, why Chris Stevens, despite fears for his safety, was even in Libya on 9.11 has been lost.  Until now.  The point of the editorial is to drive accountability to those that abandoned our embassy and its defenders.  In addition, it brings light to what could be an even bigger scandal.  Arms dealing in the middle east.  Fast and Furious on steroids.

What we do know is that the New York Times — one of the most slavishly pro-Obama publications in the country — reported in an Oct. 14 article, “Most of the arms shipped at the behest of Saudi Arabia and Qatar to supply Syrian rebel groups fighting the government of Bashar Assad are going to hard-line Islamic jihadists, and not the more secular opposition groups that the West wants to bolster.”

In short, it seems President Obama has been engaged in gun-walking on a massive scale. The effect has been to equip America’s enemies to wage jihad not only against regimes it once claimed were our friends, but inevitably against us and our allies as well. That would explain his administration’s desperate and now failing bid to mislead the voters through the serial deflections of Benghazigate.

A portion of the Admirals Editorial:

There is an urgent need for full disclosure of what has become the “Benghazi Betrayal and Cover-up.” The Obama national security team, including CIA, DNI and the Pentagon, apparently watched and listened to the assault on the U.S. consulate and cries for help but did nothing. If someone had described a fictional situation with a similar scenario and described our leadership ignoring the pleas for help, I would have said it was not realistic—not in my America – but I would have been proven wrong.

We now know why Ambassador Christopher Stevens had to be in Benghazi the night of 9/11 to meet a Turkish representative, even though he feared for his safety.  According to various reports, one of Stevens’ main missions in Libya was to facilitate the transfer of much of Gadhafi’s military equipment, including the deadly SA-7 – portable SAMs – to Islamists and other al Qaeda-affiliated groups fighting the Assad Regime in Syria. In an excellent article, Aaron Klein states that Stevens routinely used our Benghazi consulate (mission) to coordinate the Turkish, Saudi Arabian and Qatari governments’ support for insurgencies throughout the Middle East. Further, according to Egyptian security sources, Stevens played a “central role in recruiting Islamic jihadists to fight the Assad Regime in Syria.”

In another excellent article, Clare Lopez at noted that there were two large warehouse-type buildings associated with our Benghazi mission. During the terrorist attack, the warehouses were probably looted. We do not know what was there and if it was being administrated by our two former Navy SEALs and the CIA operatives who were in Benghazi.  Nonetheless, the equipment was going to hardline jihadis.

He concludes:

Having been in a number of similar situations, I know you have to have the courage to do what’s right and take immediate action. Obviously, that courage was lacking for Benghazi. The safety of your personnel always remains paramount. With all the technology and military capability we had in theater, for our leadership to have deliberately ignored the pleas for assistance is not only in incomprehensible, it is un-American.

Somebody high up in the administration made the decision that no assistance (outside our Tripoli embassy) would be provided, and let our people be killed. The person who made that callous decision needs to be brought to light and held accountable. According to a CIA spokesperson, “No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need.” We also need to know whether the director of CIA and the director of National Intelligence were facilitators in the fabricated video lie and the overall cover-up. Their creditability is on the line. A congressional committee should be immediately formed to get the facts out to the American people. Nothing less is acceptable.
